appreciate it. good morning, scott. the white house says president obama called house speaker john boehner and senate majority leader harry reid over the effort to discuss efforts to avoid the fiscal cliff. that's the combination of tax hikes and spending cuts set to take effect january 1st. the "washington post" reports that boehner plans to have some house republicans meet wither skin bowles. on wednesday president obama will meet with other top ceos. futures meantime are flat this morning, stocks slipping back on monday. the s&p 500 index snapping a five-day winning streak. investors continue to watch those budget talks in washington. meantime, we are expecting today to get some data on demand for durable goods, home prices and consumer confidence. the dow slipping back below 13k losing 42 points to 12,967. the nasdaq edging up nearly 10 to 2976. and i would do a campaign not to vote for marissa mayer for "time" person of the year. remember when we had the head of amazon on the cover of "time" back in 2000. i think there's a little jinx in that. a little like the si jinx. so don
